My husband innocently touched the (“do not touch”) 13th century clock and was swarmed by museum staff.

My transfer didn’t show up in Barcelona at the cruise port

When Barcelona has a once a year festival that made it crowded with tourists AND locals
What are some things you wish you had known before the trip, and how could you prepare for a return trip to this destination?
I wish I had researched must-sees at ports because Castellon was boring–downtown is post-war and was closed for siesta when I was there.
Your personal experience in the culture and interactions with locals:
Enjoyed a 3 hour “tour with locals” guide and experienced an important annual religious festival which gained us access to cathedrals that would’ve normally been closed and other festivities like human pyramids.
